The OPAL Beatrice Company presents "A Trip Up North", a staged reading of passages from Brendan Whitt's novella "A Summer In Harlem" accompanied by live jazz. The reading features poet and community organizer D.L. Ware, poet and journalist Tim Cox, and writer and CSU junior MaryAnn Dowdell. The reading will be preceded by an open mic featuring CSU students. The event is free and open to the public.
